Dental Insurance

As a courtesy to you, we will assist you in filing your dental insurance, provided you supply us with current insurance information, as well as a copy of your insurance card. Without this information, our office will not be able to file your insurance, and payment in full is required at the time of your appointment.

The dental insurance contract is between you and your insurance company. To get the most coverage, it is the patient’s responsibility to know all aspects of their insurance plan.

Dental Insurance will not cover 100% of all dental costs, therefore, payment for your portion of the treatment performed, along with deductibles, and co-insurance are expected at the time of services. Regardless of your insurance benefits, payment for any outstanding balance will be your responsibility. For your convenience we accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Care Credit (an interest free payment plan. Link under Financial Policy.)

Insurance Benefits:

Treatment recommendations for our patients are based on their best oral health care and never on what your insurance company will pay.

All levels of payments by insurance companies, including usual and customary, reasonable, and allowed fees are governed by the insurance company. They have nothing to do with the actual fee for the services rendered. Our fees are based upon a combination of our costs, time, and our dedication to provide our patients with the highest standard of dental care possible. The difference between the actual price of the procedure and what the insurance company pays will be the responsibility of the patient.

A service charge of 1% per month on the unpaid balance of any account will be charged to all accounts with balances over 90 days.
